It’s a car made of jelly! It’s JellyCar Worlds, which challenges players to drive a squishy vehicle through a variety of convoluted levels.

The game, which hit Apple Arcade on Friday, marks the return of a classic game from the original creator.

JellyCar Worlds provides a silly driving experience

Driving games like Horizon Chase 2 and Gear.Club Stradale are about speed. And cool-looking cars. That’s not what Walaber’s latest title has to offer. Not at all.

JellyCar Worlds is about navigating a squishy car through various mazes. There are multiple worlds with a range of themes and gameplay mechanics. To find each exit, players will need to use their vehicle’s odd abilities: Grow, Balloon, Sticky Tires, Rocket, and more.

The game is highly customizable. Players can design their own car and even recording their own sound effects.

Drive now to Apple Arcade

JellyCar Worlds from Walaber Entertainment can now be found in the Apple Arcade section of the App Store. There are versions for iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV. Game controllers are always an option for any of these platforms.

The game is also available for Windows, Steam and Nintendo Switch.

This is only one of over 200 other titles in Apple’s gaming service playable for a single $4.99-per-month subscription. And a family can share a subscription. New games appear almost every week.

What’s not part of Apple Arcade are irritating requests for in-app purchases or questionable loot boxes – these are banned.
