Modern Warfare 2: Ghost to be the protagonist of a DLC

In a recent report published on What If Gaming, Ralph Valve, a well-known insider in the Call of Duty community, claims that Modern Warfare 2 will have an expansion is starring Ghost — one of the characters in the cast. According to the insider’s sources, Infinity Ward would have sought out actor Samuel Roukin, responsible for bringing Simon “Ghost” Riley to life, with the idea of further developing his character beyond the main game.

Earlier this month, journalist Jason Schreier claimed that Activision would be preparing premium content to come to Modern Warfare 2 in 2023 – a potential expansion that could cost around $70. Although Ralph Valve’s sources have stated that the company is working on the alleged Ghost spin-off, it was unclear whether both extras are related. It is worth remembering that, although they are sources of good credibility, no official information has been released by Activision. Therefore, we need to treat this text with caution.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is once again one of the best-selling games on the PlayStation platform. The COD franchise has been the target of controversies in recent months. Sony fears that Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision will compromise the competition.
