Does Walmart have curbside pickup?
Walmart offers curbside pickup for contact-free shopping. Place an order online, and select your pickup time slot. A Walmart team member will shop for you and load everything into your car from there. This year, Walmart is also offering curbside returns in some stores so you don't have to leave your vehicle.
Some items can even be ordered online and picked up the same day. Look for products marked "Free Pickup Today" when shopping. Same-day pickup items are made available within four hours of placing your order — you'll get an email when they're ready.
Should I sign up for Walmart+?
Paid Walmart+ memberships include a few extra perks this holiday shopping season. Subscribers received access to each phase of Walmart's Deals for Days sale four hours earlier than other shoppers in the lead-up to Black Friday. In addition, Walmart+ also offers standard perks year-round, like free shipping, scan and go, and free grocery delivery.
The service costs $98 a year or $13 a month. Signing up for Walmart+ is a good idea if you're a frequent Walmart shopper, regardless of holiday sales.
If you're not interested in early access to deals, however, you will be better off signing up for a Walmart+ 15-day free trial during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. The free trial gets you free shipping without an order minimum, meaning you can make as many impulse buys as you'd like without worrying about shipping costs. On the downside, the free trial does not grant you early access to deals.
