2014年，AI编程软件Kite正式上线，一度拥有50万的活跃用户，被不少人称作“AI编程神器”。
但这款支持13种语言和16款编辑器，能够帮助开发者更快编辑代码的软件，却在推出8年后，无奈宣布退场。
目前，
Kite官方发布消息，称目前公司已经停止开发Kite，且不再支持Kite软件。
但公司会将软件包括数据驱动的Python类型推理引擎、Python公共包分析器、桌面软件、编辑器集成、Github爬虫和分析器等大部分代码在GitHub上进行开源。
