India’s first privately developed rocket successfully launched by Skyroot Aerospace
The maiden demonstrator, which reached a peak altitude of 89.5 kilometres above the planet with three non-deployable payloads aboard, successfully followed its targeted course.
It was a technology demonstrator mission, which is often the first space mission carried out by space companies before undertaking commercial missions.
