Galaxy S21 gets stable Android 13 in India & other Asian regions

Last week, Samsung released the stable Android 13 update for some of its smartphones. This update is available for Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 in European countries. Now, Samsung has released a stable update to the Galaxy S21 series outside of Europe. Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra get stable Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update in India, Kazakhstan and Russia.

The new software firmware version is G99xBXXU5DVJC. This update also comes with the November 2022 security patch. Samsung devices running One UI 4.1.1 will get a major update with a download size of about 2GB. Those devices that are testing One UI 5.0 will get the same update. The download is about 275MB.

• Go to Settings
• Click on Software Update 
• Tap on “Download and Install”

Samsung Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update brings a revamped UI design. It also brings stacked widgets, slight changes to the notification area and quick settings toggle. Furthermore, it comes with a very simple settings menu. Samsung has added many new features to its built-in apps. The likes of Bixby, Camera, Device Care, Samsung Calendar, and Samsung Gallery have new features. Also, Samsung Internet Browser, Samsung Messages, and Samsung My Files also come with new features.

Samsung has also improved the performance and smoothness of the user interface. The company has improved accessibility and renamed Bixby Routines to Modes & Routines. It also merged the privacy and security sections of the Settings app. There is also the “Connected Devices” menu where users can find all connected devices, whether wired or wireless. Simply put, this new update brings a lot of features to Samsung devices. In fact, it appears that the in-app changes are more attractive than the regular fixes.
