ngl it would be easy if we moved to discord but im pretty sure you dont have it

but even still i dont check xda often bc ngl it just sucks. if you can make a discord you can send it here or in remind.

i do have discord but it would be really hard to access here at school because of the email lock which my school blocked the addition of multiple accounts and my school also filters out non-school emails, so remind is the best we can do for now until someone makes a proxy that allows you to change the IP address of.

Hey wassup, if you are trying to unblock your Chromebook, I think I have a solution. This will only work if your blocker is an extension!

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING DONE WITH THIS TECHNIQUE OR ANY DAMAGES. THIS IS PURELY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES.

First, check your ChromeOS version, you can do this by going to settings > about ChromeOS.

If your Chromebook version starts with 105.xxxxx or lower then you can skip towards the end, I'll leave a marker there.

If not, your going to need a USB flash drive with atleast ~4-5gb of storage and another computer.

On your second computer (not the Chromebook) go to this link and search your Chromebooks model.

You should be able to find the model on the bottom of your Chromebook or in settings.

Once you find your Chromebook's model on the list, go all the way to the right of it and click on the link that says 105. It should download a file, make sure to put it in a safe place like your downloads folder or your desktop.

Now you are going to want to download this extension on the second PC (not the Chromebook)

After you download it, pin the extension and run it. A pop-up window should appear.

In the top right hand corner of it, click on the settings cog.

Once in settings, click on use local image.

Select the file you downloaded a few steps ago.

A new page will appear with a drop down box, plug in your USB and select it from that box, sometimes it's a bit buggy, try restarting it if it isn't working.

Once you select it, press next and it should start formatting your drive.

This may take a few minutes for it to finish formatting, but afterwards when you plug the USB in it will act as if a bounch of drives are plugged in, this is normal.

Now your USB should be setup and you're ready to move on.

Return to your Chromebook and make sure it is charging even if it is at full battery (I would also recommend it charged to 15-20% before you continue)

Now press the following key combo: esc+refresh+power (some laptops may have the power button on the side of the laptop, try using that if you have one)

A screen will appear saying something about repair os that asks you to insert a USB.

Plug your USB in and DO NOT REMOVE IT until the very end when your screen instructs you to. Removing it before it's finished could cause harm to your Chromebook!!!

Once this process is done and the Chromebook says it's alright, remove the USB.

Your Chromebook will restart, and you will need to login to your school Google account.

Once you are all logged in, check your ChromeOS version in settings, if it is 105 or below, your good to go.

If it isn't, maybe try the method again and make sure you downloaded the correct version from that first website I linked. If none of those work, Google may have patched this method.

ONCE YOU ARE ON v105:

Log into your Chromebook and create a new bookmark

Paste the following code into the bookmark:
javascript:

Now go to:

chrome.google.com/webstorex

Once here, run the bookmark and you will be greeted with a dashboard and text at the top saying "Ingot"

Now it's as simple as flipping off the switch next to the extension that blocks your Chromebook, and voila, it should be unblocked and working!

I am very sorry if my wording or grammar was off, it's currently late at night and I am typing this on my phone.

As I repeat, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING DONE WITH THIS, IT IS PURELY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES!
