Adobe wants to take on Descript... do you think Descript refused to sell, whereas Figma did? If so, why?
@chrismessina Don't think descript is a big enough company at this point to warrant a valuation that stacks up with what they believe future value could be (ie it's too early). Also, Descript does video and is probably going after a bigger opportunity that clashes with multiple adobe products.
@ajsharp fair point. The UI similarity between Descript and Adobe Podcast is hard to miss, but then again, maybe this is just what this category of software needs to look like.
The world needs better apps for creating online media. Thank you for this.
Really hoping they add simple video recording – ala Riverside – so podcasts with video can be recorded.
