据 Bitcoin.com 11 月 13 日报道，前美国财政部长劳伦斯・萨默斯（Lawrence Henry Summers）在接受 Bloomberg TV 采访时称 FTX 是典型的欺诈行为。
他表示：“FTX 不仅只有财务问题，还有欺诈的味道。监管界应该从中吸取两个教训，第一，如果我们少一些经济学家和量化分析师，多一些法律会计师将会更有帮助；另一个是，应该在涉及金融的所有事情中制定一条规则，即每个与金融有关的负责人必须每年连续一周或两周完全远离办公室、远离电话、远离任何设备和系统连接，这样才能快速将一些问题暴露出来。”
