主题句是段落重点，段落根据主题展开。
寻找方式：
- 第一句提问或背景，第二句主题
寻找新内容，识别出旧内容可以略读。
常见题目：
- According to the paragraph, which of the following is true of X?
- X did Y because
- Why did X do Y
- X occurred because
找出题目关键词，用关键词定位段落中关键句。
- 读题干，选关键词
- 关键词不选标题词、出现次数多的词
命题方式：
- 原文概括表达
题目关键词：EXCEPT
“反向细节题”，排除题先看四个选项再读文章。
命题方式：
- 与原文事实矛盾
- 偷换对象，因果反转
修辞目的题
常见题目：
- Why does the author mention X
- The author discusses X in order to
- Why does the author include the information
回答此类问题需要理解词、句、例子在段落中的意义，回答提出这些关键字句的目的。
题目关键词：
- infer
- imply
- suggest
解题方法：
- 取反
- 时间取反，例：xxxx 年危机结束 -> xxxx 年前危机未结束
- 事物对比，例：与 A 不一样，B 促进经济发展 -> A 不能促进经济发展
- 条件与结论，例：A 推出 B -> 非 A 推出 非 B
- 整体与部分，例：A 的特点是 x，B 是 A -> B 的特点是 x
- 类似修辞目的题推测
- 类似细节题，同义替换
句子简化题
考察提取句子核心信息的能力，提炼主句。
常见错误：
- 遗漏核心信息
- 因果倒置，主宾反转
- 子集变全集
句子插入题
考察句子间逻辑关系。
- 先抽象再具体
- 先结论后例子
- 递进则一致
- 转折则相反
- 代词找代指
- 内容要连贯
- 选段落主题句
- 选前面题目考过的内容
- 错误选项的内容在文中没有展现或是次要信息
