Looks like it could be done manually via History-Github-PR-Jira Tickets... But you guys make this path short and streight. Nice idea!
@vasili_chyrvon That's exactly it! The idea is to reduce these kinds of workflows from dozens of minutes to a couple of seconds. This, to ultimately reduce the time a dev becomes truly productive on a codebase from 6 months to 2.
@helloteban Btw, I think it can be useful not only for onboarding, but also for the senior developers too. My common case is the trying to find why some code was changed that way. Looking through git history and jira tickets can be really painful. I think some search in descriotions and comments of jira tickets could be realy useful. Oh, and if I could look through threads of Slack that mentions this tickets too will blow my mind :) Just a thoughts out loud, but maybe it could be useful for Watermelon's future. Good luck, will follow you!
@vasili_chyrvon Actually, we're working on a Slack integration right now. Would love to get your input. Please join our Discord and let's continue there.
Looks very solid for onboarding developers. Thank you!
@mike_chetverikov thanks for your support 🙌 Hope we're adding value. Looking to get into other IDEs such as Android Studio so we can help Android devs like yourself.
