LG显示器开发出可随意变形的显示屏
韩国LG显示器11月8日宣布，开发出了可伸缩的新型显示屏。显示屏画面的伸缩率为20％左右，可以在播放影像的同时弯曲扭转，自由变形。采用通过微细发光二极管（LED）显示图像的“Micro LED”技术，实现了与普通电视相当的分辨率。
画面尺寸根据客户要求设计。在用于隐形眼镜的特殊硅材料基板上配置了发红光、绿光、蓝光的Micro LED。画面分辨率达到100ppi（每英寸的像素）。LG显示器表示“还可以贴在不规则曲面上，可以应用于可穿戴设备及车载等多种产业领域”。
在显示器产业，在中国厂商的投资攻势下，韩国企业也处于劣势，为了应对产品大众化，需要进行技术革新。LG显示器力争扩大有望成为OLED之后的新一代技术的Micro LED技术的应用范围，以此寻求活路。（日经中文网）
