67W vs 96W Power Adapter Dimensions? Which is overall better?
I’m itching to get a 14” mbp but am undecided on my power adapter.
Does anyone know the exact dimensions of these adapters? They are strangely not listed on Apple’s website.
Overall which adapter do you think is best to go with a 14” mbp?
Im a little torn between the tradeoff of faster charging but (I assume) a larger heavier adapter and potentially more battery degradation?

67W | 74 x 74 x 28.6mm | 205g
96W | 80 x 80 x 28.6mm | 299g
Overall, the 67W better in terms of power to weight ratio. It should be rare that you need to fast charge at 96W.
96W | 80 x 80 x 28.6mm | 299g

Interesting, yes thats an important ratio. I kinda was assuming thered be a bigger difference than .6 cm tho lol67W | 74 x 74 x 28.6mm | 205g

I guess I could use a third party one for situations when I want something more portable?
Im strongly considering getting a studio display as well, so I figure if I really crave fast charging I can just hook it up to that

What's the least power output required to keep the 14 charged and running?

Even 30W will keep the computer running and slowly charging. Keep in mind when Apple bundles the adapter, they take in to consideration the user might run at full brightness under full load with stuff connected on both TB ports (15W x 2).

I have the 67W one with my 14". It's perfectly fast enough. And since the battery life of these laptops are so amazing, I don't really see much benefit with faster charging. It will be on a rare occasion that I'll need to charge quickly.
OTOH if you know that you'll burn through the battery during the day, sure, I'd go with the faster charger. I sometimes top off my 14" with a 30W adapter btw, it works fine, but slow-ish of course.

I know I'm late to the party, but I found even my iPad's 20w charger was enough to slowly charge my 14" Pro while I was using it.What's the least power output required to keep the 14 charged and running?
I doubt it would be able to charge it while running a game, or something intensive like video editing, but I was able to run a whole bunch of programs including a long zoom call and it slowly charged up.
I no longer bother carrying the 67 watt charger during a work day. I almost never need to plug in to a charger when at work when I'm using it on a docking station most of the day anyway, so it wasn't worth carrying a heavy charger around.
