推特在美国加州提交裁员通知，将永久性削减983个岗位
据美国加州就业发展部网站发布的文件，推特于当地时间11月7日提交美国联邦《工人调整和再培训通知法》（WARN）通知，宣布在983个岗位永久性裁员。
具体裁员情况包括旧金山办事处裁员784人、圣何塞裁员106人、圣莫尼卡裁员93人。
根据提交给美国证监会（SEC）的文件显示，截至2013年6月30日，也就是推特上市前不久，该公司约有2000名员工。而到去年年底，该公司全职员工人数已经超过7500人。据多家媒体此前报道，推特此番大规模裁员将在全球范围削减50%的工作岗位。
