2018年，索尼面向PS4发布了系列重启之作《战神》。2022年1月，本作登陆PC平台。
最新数据显示，《战神》的总销量已经突破2300万份，跻身全球TOP30卖座游戏行列，与《荒野大镖客：救赎2》、《马力欧赛车》等并列。
事实上， 在登陆PC前，这款PS并没有超过2000万份，所以现在的成绩，PC用户们同样功不可没。
其它一方游戏如《最后的生还者》，和《战神》还有一倍的差距。
