When talking to Marple users we often meet engineers using InfluxDB (https://www.influxdata.com). InfluxDB is awesome.
But the UI confuses them sometimes. We see people struggling to find their data, make sense of the aggregation windows, compare datasets, etc...
Grafana does not plug the gap for them, because it is mainly aimed at monitoring real-time stuff. Engineers need to interact in a much more interactive way with their test data.
