近日，虚拟工作空间平台开发商 Spot 宣布完成 550 万美元融资。本轮融资由 Freestyle 领投，Liquid 2 Ventures、Community Access Fund 和 Founder‘s Co-op 参投。所得资金将用于公司企业产品的技术开发和新人招聘活动。
据了解，Spot 是一家总部位于西雅图的初创公司，成立于 2020 年。其开发并提供一个应用程序《 Spot 》，让用户可以轻松创建虚拟工作空间。Spot 于 2021 年 4 月筹集了 170 万美元。
据悉，用户可以从专用应用程序或网络浏览器访问《 Spot 》。用户以虚拟化身通过聊天、视频会议、屏幕共享等方式，使远程工作成为可能，就像他们在真实的办公室一样。《 Spot 》旨在用沉浸式虚拟办公室取代 Slack 频道和线程。
据 Spot 称，其用户已经创建了 8000 多个工作空间，并被谷歌、亚马逊和优步等各大 IT 公司使用。
