10月27日消息，据国外媒体报道，微软Xbox主管菲尔?斯宾塞（Phil Spencer）在接受采访时表达了对现今元宇宙的批评态度，将其称之为“制作粗劣的电子游戏”。
虽然元宇宙目前是一个大热趋势，但斯宾塞时对此有不同看法，他表示：“如今，这就像是制作粗劣的电子游戏。建造一个看起来像会议室的元宇宙不太让人想在这上面消磨时间。”他这一言论可能是在含蓄地抨击Meta。
不过他也补充道，现在还处于早期阶段，随着时间推移元宇宙也将会继续发展。
