为庆祝《辐射》诞生25周年，亚马逊向粉丝展示了一张《辐射》真人剧集剧照：
该剧由亚马逊影视与Kilter影业联合出品，后者由《西部世界》前创制者人乔纳森·诺兰与妻子丽萨领衔创立。图片正中是站在33号避难所入口处的神秘剪影，近处三人均着蓝色连体服，远处出现一双腿，也许来自一具尸体，为该剧定下不详的基调。
根据辐射百科全书的说法，33号避难所尚未出现在辐射游戏中，这赋予剧集创作者更多自由。但另有报道指，33号避难所位于圣迭戈，是一座规模较小的地下掩体，只能容纳六个人。
