Today was quite an interesting day for Pokemon fans. Not only we got a preview of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games but also a new leak. Talking about the preview, it was just a first look at the game, given to YouTubers and other Pokemon content creators. However, the exciting thing is the leak of Wiglett’s evolution. It was pretty obvious that Wiglett will have multiple evolutions, however; they are not revealed yet. Thanks to a leak, we have our first look at the possible Wiglett’s evolution.

Wiglett is one of those unusual Pokemon that ends up getting a lot of popularity. One of the cool things about Wiglett is that it is a water-type Pokemon. But another highlight is the close resemblance to Diglett, an iconic Pokemon. Since Diglett’s evolution is Dugtrio, we were positive that we will also get an evolution for Wiglett’. Thanks to a Reddit post, we have our first look at the evolution. However, take it with a grain of salt, as there is no official confirmation about the evolution yet.

I am not quite shocked to see the leaked design. Pokemon is keeping it a lot similar to Dutrio. Fans are calling it Wugtrio, which makes sense. But it would have been better if it evolved into something different, just to differentiate it from Dugtrio, however, Pokemon has been really lazy this year. We have not seen a lot of original designs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. I hope that Pokemon surprises us with great evolutions for the starters and also brings something fresh to the table.
