Realme 10 and 10 Pro+ get TENAA certification, key specs tipped

Apparently, both Realme and Xiaomi are ready to unveil their next big thing for the mid-range segment. While Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi Note 12 series soon, Realme is preparing its Realme 10 series for release. Today, the Realme 10 and 10 Pro+ got their TENAA certification, hinting at an imminent launch in China.

We’re expecting Realme to unveil at least three new smartphones in the Chinese market. The Realme 10,  Pro, and the Pro+. Today’s listing brings details about the vanilla and the Pro+ variant. The vanilla version packs a flat display and also has a dual camera setup with two large holes.

The Realme 10 Pro+, on the other hand, boasts a curved display with a curved rear and three camera modules. One thing to note is that both displays have centered punch holes. This is new for the numbered series. After all, Realme has been sticking with top-left cameras for years. This changed with the Realme GT Neo3.

The vanilla has two big holes and two cameras, the Pro+ uses the same design language. However, the second hole comprises two snappers. We’re probably seeing a large main camera, an ultrawide snapper, and a macro/depth shooter. The phone will bring a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. Unlike, Xiaomi, Realme is not pursuing numbers. Instead, it will deliver OIS, something that is uncommon among mid-rangers.

The Realme 10 Pro+ passed by the 3C database a few days ago. The listing confirms it will come with 67W fast-charging support. That may sound a little disappointing to some. After all, Realme has been sticking with this charging speed for a while. Anyway, that is still fast. Also, the phone brings a 5,000 mAh battery which means an increase in capacity for the Pro+ series. The phone will bring a Dimensity 1080 just like the Redmi Note 12 Pro series.

Realme 10 Pro+

The Realme 10 brings a similar capacity 5,000 mAh battery which has been a standard for budget devices. Unlike its Pro+ sibling, this one has just 33W fast charging. In terms of power, the phone is also expected to run with an Helio G99 SoC. That chipset means just 4G connectivity.

Both devices will run with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0. We also expect a Realme 10 Pro to debut. Maybe more details will appear in the coming days. Given the number of leaks and certifications, we expect the 10 series to launch in China as soon as the next month.
