或许不少人都在等待华为5G手机回归的那天，但是从目前，这个应该不会是目前发生的事情。
工信部网站最新显示，一款型号为NOH-AN80的华为5G数字移动电话机于10月18日通过工信部电信设备进网许可，申请单位和生产企业均为华为，由此引发外界关于华为5G手机回归的猜想。
对此， 华为向证券时报记者回应：“工信部公告的型号为NOH-AN80的手机，实际是Mate40 Pro因为更改了产品描述，按照工信部要求需要重新申报而已。”Mate40 Pro为华为2020年10月推出的5G手机。
由于种种因素限制，这导致华为Mate 40都成为了现阶段旗下最后一款5G手机，而时隔两年后发布的Mate 50系列只支持4G网络。
