Oppo Find N2 specifications have been revealed

Since the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 launch, we’ve been seeing most smartphone makers launching new devices with it. OnePlus, Realme, and Vivo have all launched phones with the new SoC. The only missing piece of the family is Oppo. This will change soon as the company is preparing its next foldable phone – the Oppo Find N2 – with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

According to rumors, Oppo is preparing the terrain for a new foldable. Today, we get some of the specifications this phone will offer. It’s a courtesy of the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. According to him, the Oppo Find N2 will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Moreover, The Oppo Find N2 will flaunt a 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED folding screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the leakster states the phone has a 4,520 mAh battery. It will also have a faux leather finish at the back. In terms of software, the new foldable will run Android 13 with ColorOS 13.

Oppo’s upcoming foldable smartphone will keep the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The foldable phone will come in Black, White, and Green Colorways. According to the tipster, the Oppo Find N2 is already in production. As a result, fans and enthusiasts can already wait for the new foldable.

For now, there is no word about the Oppo Find N2 launch. However, Oppo launched the Oppo Find N at the end of 2021. Most precisely in December 2021. So, the company has plenty of time to prepare the phone for release in December 2022.

The Oppo Find N2 with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will follow the strategy used with the Find N. The company does not really need to try with the unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. After all, most of the foldables have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It will take a while until the first foldables with SD8 Gen 2 appear. So the Find N2 will have the exact SoC as the competition.
