在发布12.9寸iPad Pro 6和11寸iPad Pro 4的同时，苹果还更新了第三代Apple TV 4K机顶盒。
新机顶盒起步容量从32GB调整为64GB，价格为129美元（约合858元），另外还有128GB容量，价格为149美元。
处理器升级到A15仿生，支持HDR10+和新款Siri语音遥控器，首次换用USB-C接口充电。
有些遗憾的是，前一代32GB和64GB都有网口和支持Thread协议，但这一代只有128GB才配有。换言之，64GB仅支持Wi-Fi。
