前不久微软表示将推出Microsoft 365应用取代现有的Office应用。
甚至，Office.com网站、Office移动应用程序和适用于Windows的Office Hub程序也将更名。于是，一些媒体表示，Office品牌要被微软放弃了。
对此，资深名记Paul Thurrott表示，这是微软沟通失误，Office是微软历史最悠久、最受欢迎的品牌之一。
随后被问道Office是否要彻底消失时， 微软回应否认，它是作为Microsoft 365的一部分。微软进一步澄清，Office 2021和Office LTSC还会继续提供给用户，Office 365的订阅计划也不会有任何改变。
