开源的Linux系统在多个领域都是王者，比如服务器，嵌入式，甚至移动平台——安卓都要用到Linux核心，唯独在桌面电脑市场上干不过微软的Windows系统。
这是Linux系统的技术不行吗？恰恰相反，Linux系统在技术上可能要比Windows系统更先进，但是多年来在桌面市场没什么存在感的原因也很多，一 个是Linux系统自身碎片化严重，一个就是Windows系统操作系统深入人心， 大家不愿意也没啥必要换别的系统。
Linux系统还有机会超越Windows成为桌面王者吗？这事还真有可能，英国Theregister网站提出了一个很有意思的观点，认为Linux系统终有一天会做到，但它能做到的原因还是跟微软有关，那就是Windows的转型。
原文提到，微软近年来一直在加大云端转型，Office 365办公软件已经不用说了，某天推出Windows 365的云PC也不稀奇，甚至可能在2023年就尝试。
