功耗直降30% 台积电2nm工艺好于预期：2025年量产

今天的财报会上，台积电不仅公布了Q3季度业绩，同时也透露了最新的工艺进展，3nm工艺的需求已经超过了预期，明年会满载量产，而2nm工艺也进度喜人，2025年量产。
台积电在6月份正式公布了2nm工艺，并透露了一些技术细节，相比3nm工艺，
在相同功耗下，2nm速度快10~15%；相同速度下，功耗降低25~30%。
不过在晶体管密度上，2nm工艺的提升就不那么让人满意了，相比3nm只提升了10%，远低于以往至少70%的晶体管密度提升，这可能是台积电首次在2nm工艺上放弃FinFET晶体管，改用GAA晶体管所致，第一代工艺会保守一些。
根据台积电CEO魏哲家的说法， 2nm工艺的进展很顺利，甚至超过预期，不过他们现在的计划依然是2025年量产，没打算提前。
