当前，iPhone主要有三大生产地，分别是中国、印度和巴西，但是后两者的份额很低，量级甚至最多只能满足本国需求。
不过， 一份新的报道指出，苹果已经开始了一项3~5年的中期计划，内容就是向印度iPhone工厂倾斜更多资源。
报道指出，苹果想实现的目标似乎是，在中国本土之外，扶植起至少足够供应美国市场所需全部iPhone的生产能力。
事实上，前不久投行小摩（摩根大通）就在一份研报中预估，2025年前，苹果25%左右的iPhone产能都将交给印度。
