Apple Watch Series 8 is a tick upgrade
The Apple Watch Series 8 is a minor upgrade over its predecessor. It looks and feels a lot like the Apple Watch Series 7, with some minor improvements. This includes a brighter display, improved sensors, and a temperature sensor. Thanks to the improved gyroscope and accelerometer, the Apple Watch Series 8 can automatically detect when you are in a car crash.
Unlike a traditional thermometer, you can’t use the temperature sensor on the Apple Watch Series 8 to measure your temperature. Instead, Apple uses it for female-centric health features like cycle tracking related to ovulation.
Sadly, the Apple Watch Series 8 does not last longer than the previous models. Apple still rates its battery life at 18 hours. You can extend this further by using the new low-power mode.
