AI art is having a moment right now. Generative tools (ones where users input text prompts and receive generated art) were all the hype for a while.

But now, technologists have taken the next logical step: generating AI video content from text-based prompts. Companies like Google and Meta have already made headway in the field.

Here's what Meta and Google have started doing in the space.

Meta

Google

Google's Imagen Video tool operates in a similar way and produced high-def videos based on text prompts.
