Here's what I'm watching tomorrow, oil, ahead of an all-important meeting of OPEC plus members in Vienna. The meeting in person for the first time in two years. Reports from Reuters suggest a dramatic cut in production between 500,000 and 1 million barrels per day, which would be historic. "The Wall Street Journal" reporting the cut could be as large as 1 and 1/2 million barrels a day.
WTI and Brent both jumping more than 3%. As you can see, WTI settling at $86.35 and Brent at $91.60, respectively. WTI up nearly 9% in the past two sessions, the largest two-day gain since April 13th.

ReutersOil prices little changed ahead of OPEC+ talks on supply cut
SINGAPORE (Reuters) -Oil prices were little changed on Wednesday ahead of a meeting of OPEC+ producers to discuss a big cut in crude output after gaining more than 3% in the previous session. Brent crude was up 1 cent at $91.81 a barrel at 0628 GMT, after climbing $2.94 in the previous session. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell 9 cents, or 0.1%, to $86.43 a barrel after gaining $2.89 a day earlier.

LONDON (Reuters) -The OPEC+ group of oil producers is discussing output cuts of more than 1 million barrels per day (bpd), OPEC sources said, and voluntary cuts by individual members could come on top of that, making it their largest cut since 2020. The group is set to meet on Oct. 5 in Vienna -- in person for the first time since March 2020 -- against a backdrop of falling oil prices and months of severe market volatility which prompted top OPEC+ producer, Saudi Arabia, to say the group could cut production. OPEC+, which combines OPEC countries and allies such as Russia, has been gradually raising its output target to unwind the record cuts it made in 2020.
