It's easy to understand why more than 25 million players practice it worldwide, being one of the sports with more annual growth in recent years: It's fun, easy to learn (but complicated to master) and it's also social 🙌

But like all sports it has its complications and scoring is one of them. Trying to remember the current score, the sets & games is too much. Especially when trying to focus on making a good "bandeja" and not sending the ball to the moon 🌚

🤦‍♂️ In many matches we had to stop the game to try to remember how we were going, discussing and trying to remember previous points, sometimes without much success. And this meant losing game minutes (and money), as well as breaking the rhythm.

So together with Jose Luis Franconetti (Co-Founder & Engineer) we got down to work to create an Apple Watch app for us to keep track of the score. Focusing on:

👉 Simplicity, we just need to remember the score. 👉 Ease of use, we don't want to waste time during a match. 👉 Battery efficient. 👉 All-rounder, supporting all game types so we can use it in any match.

And that's what we did. I tested it in a couple of games and it was great. Talking to federated players and showing them the app, they thought it was great, so we decided to launch it on the App Store.

And that's how this adventure begins 🎾
