We built Thena because we were annoyed that customer communication is slow, lagging, and unintelligent; 70% of email and verbal communication lacks indicators' visibility.

When Slack launched shared channels, it opened a door for many possibilities - it allowed us to have a single place to communicate with customers who were accessible at all times. Whether for implementation, marketing, or renewal, it was a necessary channel to be closer to the customer. Customers love Slack even more; they work on Slack daily and can ask anything, anytime, for swift resolution! However, it was painful to manage customers in channels - we miss customer requests, the data is dis-connected with internal systems, we can't identify churn or upsell signals and we can't manage 100s of them all at once. The true potential of Slack for customer communication was never truly explored.
