BP Catalog No.? It’s in the Web Client!

We live in a competitive world and everyone wants to succeed. Companies are doing above and beyond to keep customers happy and establish good relationship with vendors – probably many of you can relate… while different businesses and industries may take different actions to achieve these goals – there is probably (at least) one thing they all share – flexibility. Could be an additional discount to an important customer, a more convenient delivery method offered by a vendor, or using the catalog numbers of your business partners while trading with them. The Web Client of SAP Business One introduces a dedicated app (under the Business Partners group) for setting and managing business partner catalog numbers:

If you have defined BP catalog numbers in the desktop client, they will appear in this app. You can further update them if needed and/or create new ones. The BP catalog numbers are supported in marketing documents of the Web Client as well. In addition, if catalog numbers are defined for a given business partner or item, the button “BP Catalog Numbers” would appear in the operation bar of the respective master data record, opening the list of catalog numbers defined for the specific business partner or item:

Available in the Web Client for SAP Business One 10.0 FP 2111 and the Web Client for SAP Business One 10.0, version for SAP HANA FP 2111. This tip and all the other tips are available on the Tip of the week community page.
