9月28日晚消息，数码达人i冰宇宙给出消息， SM8550芯片也就是骁龙8 Gen2采用1+2+2+3架构，目前的CPU频率是2.84Hz、2.4GHz、2.4Ghz和1.8GHz。
他透露，性能总提升提升10%，能效比不错。
可做对比的是，骁龙8 Gen1采用三星4nm工艺制造，采用一大三中四小的八核心CPU架构，首发升级为全新一代的X2、A710、A510，频率分别为3.0GHz、2.5GHz、1.8GHz，三级缓存容量也增加了一半来到6MB。
骁龙8 Gen1 Plus内部型号SM8475，基于台积电4nm工艺制程打造，采用的是“1+3+4”三丛集架构，由超大核Cortex X2、大核Cortex A710和小核Cortex A510组成，CPU超大核主频为3.2GHz。官方称CPU功耗相比骁龙8降低了约30%，GPU功耗降低最高也有30%，平台整体功耗相比骁龙8下降了15%左右。
