据《福布斯》报道，前 Roblox 音乐总监 Jon Vlassopulos 已加入点对点音频共享平台 Napster 担任 CEO。此外 Napster 正在进行新一轮融资，参投方包括 SkyBridge Capital、Alumni Ventures、Borderless Capital 和 G20 Ventures。
此前报道，Napster 于 5 月被 Hivemind 和 Algorand 以未公开价格收购，并于 6 月发布 Litepaper V1，计划在 Algorand 上推出 NAPSTER 代币，代币总上限为 100 亿枚，最初将用作购买音乐订阅服务、独家艺术家内容访问和公司流媒体服务的高级功能的支付方式。
