Cloudflare 新增高雄節點
看到「Network Performance Issues in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan」這個發現 Cloudflare 有了高雄節點，但不確定是什麼時候，所以去 Internet Archive 上翻，發現應該就是這幾天的事情...
9/20 的 20220920130956 版本還沒有高雄，但到了 9/25 的 20220925191430 就出現了。
手上沒有高雄的機器可以測，明天來問問看高雄的朋友好了...

回頭來看一下 Limelight Networks
是因為看到「How Limelight Networks speeds up sales deals with Slack Connect」這篇，才想到 Limelight Networks 這家 CDN 之前也是這個產業很大的 vendor，在很多大型網站可以看到 llnw 的蹤跡 (當時 Microsoft 的 Windows Updates 與 Apple 的軟體下載還會用他的服務)，但這十年看起來就被 Cloudflare 與 CloudFront 以及 Fastly 這些後起之秀超越過去了... (至少在聲量上面是這樣) 翻到 Global Private Network 這頁，意外發現現在有把節點列出來了，記得以前是不公開的... 在裡面可以看到台灣也有節點，不過拿 HiNet 與 APOL (家裡的 cable) 實際測官網 www.limelight.com，發現都是導去香港的點，可能是有需要的客戶才會導過去，之後有機會也許問問看...

阿羅哈客運的專車
剛剛在 nctu 板上看到的資料：(www.aloha168.com.tw/time2.htm) 本公司將於每個星期五、日兩天，爲交通大學 教職員、學生，派專車運送回北部、南部返鄉，目前試辦開始的車輛數為： 星期五：新竹往高雄3部車、新竹往嘉義2部車、新竹往台北2部車。 星期日：高雄往新竹1部車，嘉義往新竹1部車、台北往新竹2部車。 看起來還不錯 o_O

剛剛發現 CloudFlare 的 latency 掉下來了... 這是從中華電信機房內 smokeping-hinet-tpe-1.kkbox.com.tw 的資料： 這是從遠傳機房 smokeping-fetnet-tpe-1.kkbox.com.tw 的資料： 不過台灣固網的 smokeping-tfn-tpe-1.kkbox.com.tw 還沒看到： 沒有意外的話，應該是過幾天就會公佈了？接下來要觀察效能了...
