英伟达在9月20日的GTC大会上正式发布GeForce RTX 40系列游戏GPU，基于Ada Lovelace架构，首发包括GeForce RTX 4090和4080。虽然显卡性能很强，但是价格也上涨了不少，资本市场看起来并不买账，当日NVIDIA股价下跌1.54%，市值跌去50亿美元（约350亿元人民币）。
RTX 4090是最快的游戏GPU，具有760亿个晶体管、16384个CUDA核心和24 GB高速美光GDDR6X显存，在4K分辨率的游戏中持续以超过100 FPS运行。RTX 4090将于10月12日上市，建议零售价人民币12999元。
