When I was a PM in my past life, I always wondered if there was an easier way to bring in user feedback as we were building the product. Talking to users always uncovered great insights but it was such a manual process. You had to struggle across so many tools for the video call, note taking and bringing all that information together was quite a hassle. So we decided to build a product that would actually make user research joyful.

When Ethan and I started building Betafi, our vision was that user feedback should be a core part of the product development process, like Software Testing. We wanted to empower everyone from solo founders to big research teams to be able to test their ideas and prototypes. So that products are powered by user insights, not intuition alone.

We have been heads down building over the past year and are excited to introduce the first rendition of the product. Meet Betafi - Your User Research Sidekick. We make it easy for you to connect with your users, capture 'Aha' moments, and identify the right insights to drive product decisions. Whether you’re at the early stages getting feedback on your idea, or you want to get feedback on prototypes, the research process is joyful on Betafi.

With Betafi, you don’t need to jump between multiple tools and can truly focus on the participant. I use Betafi for my interview calls, and have reduced ‘alt-tabbing’ significantly.

We also have a nice offering if you’re building an app and want to get your users to try out Figma Prototypes on their phone. The Remote Usability testing experience on Betafi will really be a smooth ride for you and your participant.

The product has come a long way over the past year (here is a Miro board with the Product Story: https://miro.com/app/board/uXjVP...) and now we work with Zoom and Miro as well. You can use Betafi to transform your Zoom call. Take notes on the Zoom call and share clips after the session. You can also export your notes to Miro for further collaboration with your team.

We are just getting started. There are so many more integrations to add, features to build and, workflows to improve, but we are grateful to our early users for all their feedback in getting us here.
