This used to mean you're on the wrong base build for the ROM or your vendor img is not updated. Not sure this is still the issue now tho

I'm on the latest nameless build and the latest kernel. It's unnerving, but like I and another person said the phone works perfectly fine no issues so until I see something wrong I'm gonna stick with this kernel, seems to be pretty decent

I wouldn't recommend this kernel on evoX 7.1 because some features disappear like adrenoboost and the option to turn off fsync. But you are welcome to try it out anyways.

Unzip the kernel zip and edit the anykernel.sh file in a notepad app. Edit the "supported versions=12" to be a 13. Then repack it into the zip and flash.

Again some features do break.

So I understand correctly that after flashing it works "as is" and I can ignore the toggles in say FKM which all seem to be toggled off? No need to toggle on unless I want to do my own customizations right?

Well, you won't be able to starting on my builds from 09/16. If eng.stk wants to nuke oplus backport of erofs (theirs isn't working on customs for some reason I've yet to figure out) and add the one I'm using, it will boot just fine.
