有些 U 盘没法作为启动盘？

鄙人有多年倒腾 DIY 装机经验，装机启动 U 盘更是信手拈来。最近拿到一个新款双头优盘，遇到了个奇怪的问题。
这个优盘是 Sandisk Ultra Duo Go ，一头 usb-C ，一头 usb-A 。
我照往常装了微 PE 进去，从 bios 启动菜单进去，竟然是一个选项都没有，连本机硬盘都没有。点继续可以照常从本机硬盘启动。
换回我的旧微 PE 启动盘，一切正常，本机硬盘、优盘、网络启动一应俱全。
如果我两个盘都插上，就回到了空屏的样子。
此后我还试了 ventoy 等各色启动盘工具包，以及各种新老版本，结果一样。
换了 MBR 和 GPT 引导，也换了各种文件格式，都没效果。
同时这个盘本身存储数据是没问题的。
现在我不知道是这个优盘型号由于主控的因素不能引导？
还是买到的盘某方面是坏的？
莫非只能再买一个一样的来证实猜想了
