暴雪撕毁承诺：《守望先锋》一代将在《归来》上线前夕关服

暴雪副总裁Jon Spector在给Eurogamer的声明中显示，《守望先锋》一代预计将在10月2日关闭服务器。
Jon Spector表示，在《归来》发布的前一天，暴雪将关闭《守望先锋》的服务器，然后进行27小时的停机维护，之后在10月4日将游戏全部升级为《守望先锋：归来》。
这意味着， 暴雪彻底撕毁了此前的承诺，在10月4日公测的《守望先锋：归来》将成为唯一一款运营的《守望先锋》游戏。
早在《守望先锋：归来》首次公布时，时任《守望先锋》游戏总监的Jeff Kaplan就曾表示， 《归来》的发布并不意味着暴雪会放弃《守望先锋》，这两款游戏在很长一段时间内将会共存。
