蒙自市是云南省红河哈尼族彝族自治州首府，在铁路方面还有着全国独一无二的奇景：
作为昆河米轨铁路、个碧石寸轨铁路、玉河普速铁路、弥蒙高速铁路的交会点，这里有寸轨、米轨、普速、高铁4种不同的铁路。
更神奇的是，昆河铁路、玉河铁路、弥蒙高速铁路三条线路交错而过，构成了一个奇特的“三角形地带”。
