超速软体机器人诞生：奔跑速度可达每秒70倍体长

9月15日消息，奥地利约翰内斯·开普勒大学近日研究出 一种能够高速奔跑、游泳和跳跃的可操控软体机器人。
据了解， 这款新型机器人的奔跑速度达到了每秒70倍体长 ，要知道目前地球上奔跑速度最快的陆地动物猎豹也只能达到每秒23倍体长的速度。
虽然它可能是地球上最快的软体机器人，但是这款机器人仅有毫米等级大小。与传统机器人采用塑料、铝和金属制造不同，这种超速机器人是 由聚合物和形状记忆合金等柔性材料制成。
研究人员使用液态金属3D打印技术制造galinstan线圈，然后将线圈嵌入弹性外壳中，使用驱动器控制它们的形状，另外这种机器人还配备了L形或锯齿形“脚”。
