周小川：数字人民币应将重点放在零售环节
据贝壳财经报道，博鳌亚洲论坛副理事长周小川今日在 2022 年中国（北京）数字金融论坛上表示，数字人民币应将重点放在零售环节，可以给各类人群提供更大的日常支付便利。同时，数字人民币在研发之初就已确定了可控匿名的设计思路，对个人数据和隐私进行保护，同时又能满足反洗钱、反恐怖融资等监管需求。“很明显，零售支付是做好跨境支付的重要基础。”周小川表示，试想如果两国各自没有高效安全的数字货币零售支付安排，就很难实现跨境连通，当然，这还需要国与国之间在外汇管理政策与金融基础设施方面的协调配合。
