新浪科技讯 北京时间9月8日早间消息，据报道，Alphabet旗下谷歌公司聘请《华盛顿邮报》首席信息官担任新闻部门总经理。
莎莱什·普拉卡什（Shailesh Prakash）在《华盛顿邮报》工作10多年，领导过设计、产品和科技团队。
《华盛顿邮报》首席执行官弗雷德·瑞恩（Fred Ryan）说：“这是一个极为重要的角色，谷歌给了他机会，让他可以在新闻与工程交汇处追求自己的兴趣，从而影响世界。”
