After testing several twrps the 3.6.0 is the solution to the stuck boot.

I was on 3.6.2 and was just about to flash 3.6.1. Since you reported same issues, I will now try 3.6.0 as well.
I am even not sure that TWRP is the culprit at all, since problems started with the August update like you experienced too. And I flashed the previous ROMs also with 3.6.2 without problems...

after more than 50 restarts and power ons , on 3.6.0, the stuck boot comes again, so i think this has to do with the August build

I installed the newest version (08-2022) with twrp 3.6.1, works good. But the security patch level waa from 07-2022, last month

All right apparently I just find out I wasted my whole day on figuring out why rom keeps stuck on boot. @Tux111 which one do you recommend, previous Pixel experience release or latest Evolution X. Btw thanks for your effort.
I installed the newest version (08-2022) with twrp 3.6.1, works good.

Yesterday I have clean flashed too, tried first TWRP 3.6.2 then 3.6.0, after couple of restarts got frozen Google logo. Initially I thought it's because Magisk (not being sure what I was doing, didn't played too much with and looks changed a lot since my last root).
But this morning got the sick logo (when is freezing is changing colors to green) after another clean flash this time without Magisk!

I saw others having issues... also Tux's update:

i honestly suggest last PE dirty flashing from previous release, considering it appears to be a lot better in heat/battery/perf. This should not cause bootloop. In some days, if pe team update things i should make a new zip in the hope it will solve this weird bootloop problem with clean flashes.

i would like to report a bug in volume control, the phsyical buttons are out of synv with the volume toggle ,there is lag expecially when connected via via bluetooth headset

Also got a bootloop with latest build on G8342 w/ twrp 3.6.1_9 after first restart :c

There is sometimes lag in app task switcher, this wasnt an issue on pe 11. Any idea when the august build will be rereleased with fixed bootloop

Ow, sorry. I didn't saw that. Im using the August update and don't have any problem. Using dual sim rom by the way

I think ill just reupload "bad" build, cause seems like problem was magisk/twrp version not rom itself, cause i tested it and no problem at all. Tonight i should update it.
P.S.: keep saying it wont make it faster.

    I'm already flashed it successfully on my SO-01K,it works great,no bug so far.Thanks saving me from docomo!

    OrI flashed this update on two devices, both booted normally after flashing.
    However, after rebooting both devices get stuck during boot animation!
    I'll try a clean flash next time but I wonder why both devices booted normally for the first time...

    Use old TWRP. Many users complained weird problems on ROMs on 3.6.2. Use 3.6.1 for now.

    I clean flashed the lasted build, Thank you very much.The phone feels alive and smooth,I don't know what you did to the performance/ battery tuning, whatever it is,it solved the random stutter from previous build in some apps .Thank you both, is it possible to to install viper mod on this rom
    I did nothing, dev works behind it did it (derfelot etc., check github sources on the first post). I'm just an humble rom updater.
    Surely it is, with magisk.
