Microsoft Edge Dev Build 106.0.1363.0 Now Available for Download

Microsoft has recently released a new Microsoft Edge Dev build for testers, as the company is now looking for feedback on a series of new improvements.

Microsoft Edge Dev build 106.0.1363.0 comes with several improvements, including a tooltip display on thumbs up and down so it is read aloud by the Narrator for users who have enabled the accessibility feature.

Furthermore, the software giant says this Dev build comes with an updated policy for the Efficiency mode support.

As far as the reliability is concerned, Microsoft says it has fixed two issues, one of which causes Web Select to fail to copy some images. At the same time, the company explains the issue that affected Bluetooth focus on Duo device has now been resolved.

And last but not least, the Redmond-based software giant says it has changed the behavior of some features, therefore polishing the experience with Microsoft Edge even further:  

• Fixed orientation issue with printing
• Fixed an issue where certain keyboard keys like the arrow keys do not work in text fields
• Fixed missing smart explore icon on certain videos

Needless to say, it’s important to keep in mind that this new release is a Dev channel build, which means it’s an early version that could come with a series of bugs that haven’t yet been found. Of course, it shouldn’t be installed on production devices and used as the daily driver but only for testing purposes.

Microsoft Edge is evolving at a super-fast pace, and every new build, be it in the testing channels or the stable branch, come with significant improvements. According to third-party statistics, all these efforts are already paying off, as Microsoft Edge is now the runner-up in the browser world after leader Google Chrome. Mozilla Firefox is now third in the charts.
