8 月 30 日，胡润研究院于广州发布《2022 年中全球独角兽榜》。今年排名前 10 的独角兽占全球独角兽企业总价值的 17.6%。5 家来自中国，3 家来自美国，各 1 家来自英国和马耳他。
成立于 2012 年，总部北京的抖音仍然是全球价值最高的独角兽。今年 5 月，字节跳动更名为“抖音集团”。海外版抖音 TikTok 拥有 12 亿月度活跃用户。排名第 2 的是美国的 SpaceX 公司，由世界首富埃隆・马斯克于 2002 年创立，是美国最大的独角兽。而加密交易所币安今年排名上升 15 位，升至第 6 位。
