In a press release, T-Mobile announced that the added perk of an Apple TV+ subscription will come at no additional cost to T-Mobile customers, effective August 31. Regular Magenta customers can get 6 months free of Apple TV+.

With Apple TV+ access, Magenta MAX customers now have access to a wide assortment of added benefits, including unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi and high-speed data abroad in 215+ countries and destinations, protection against scam calls, and more.

I have the Apple One bundle which includes AppleTV+, and Apple told me I couldn't use the free AppleTV+ plan because my plan isn't valid. Because I actually use 5 of the 6 services, I don't think it could be worth it to go a la carte. I wish Apple would handle it like Disney+ and just give me a discount on the Apple One plan.

T-Mobile already had the "Get AppleTV+ on us for one year" promotion that I wasn't able to take advantage of.

We tried ATV+ and found nothing we cared to watch, which is becoming the norm across various platforms.

Or TMo just give you a $4.99 credit on your bill? That's what I came hoping for. I have the Apple One premier and use all parts of it.

If you buy a iphone 14 Pro Max on the Magenta Max plan, and your name is Max, then a T-Mobile store explodes.

Imagine if the iPhone 14 Pro Max comes in a Magenta shade as well

Tried it. Apple says I have used up all of my allowed codes. Definitely have no plans to subscribe to ATV+ now.

Same. We watched one movie on the platform, but little else interested us. We switched to T-Mobile two months ago and didn’t even bother signing up for the free year of ATV included with our plan.

Nothing? That’s quite a reach.

Wonder if T-Mobile might be looking for alternatives to Netflix. Their Magenta plans offer ”Netflix on Us”, which just gives you a super discount on the service ultimately. With all the negative press they’ve been garnering with password sharing and ad tier, plus if you make any changes to your T-Mobile plan, Netflix will instantly bill you for the month directly. It’s the only line, along with my girlfriend’s protection plan, that goes up on my bill.

He can still watch the content via the web browser and any Apple TV app on his smart tv.

We scrolled and scrolled on several occasions. Nothing interested us. Your interests seem to be different, and that's okay.

Oh nice, this is awesome. Pretty much makes me feel like I have my TV viewing locked down… just pay for Disney since I have a two year old.

Mine errored out: "You have already redeemed the maximum number of these codes per Apple ID" (I'm already a subscriber - well, I've never paid for it, just on a series of free months from various purchases)

Yep. The ideal situation is buy a month and watch all the shows you can and cancel it. So jumping from service to service. lol
Better yet, read a book.

A nice added perk for T-Mobile subscribers. Though my wife and I are on the Magenta plan. May have to look into the MAX plan a little more.

Exactly what I was thinking. I haven’t seen anything on if they’re going to still offer Netflix or wean it off
